Project: Vilapensa 26 “(Re) Pensar el Treball”
Client: Vinseum + Universitat de Barcelona
Vilafranca del Penedès, Spain. 2026
VilaPensa 2026 was built around the theme “(Re)thinking Work”, inviting audiences to reflect on the contemporary meaning of work beyond its economic dimension. Following an extensive conceptual research process, the visual identity embraced the idea of rethinking the graphic language itself. The system combines black-and-white analogue photography, photographic negatives and evocative industrial imagery (smoke, architecture, physical labour, insects and the passage of time) to create a visual narrative that questions conventional representations of work.
A Swiss-inspired typographic system is balanced with editorial elements that add rhythm and character across the communication. The identity was consistently extended across graphic, photographic and audiovisual applications, creating a cohesive visual universe that reinforces the festival's central concept.
